Pei and Po-Wei: a Taiwanese Wedding

It is with great pleasure that Po Wei Chen and Pei Hsuan Tsai have choosen a pair of Rosso Hoops to a dedicate pre-wedding photshoot in Taiwan.

Po Wei, great furniture designer and fellow Central Saint Martins alumnus, exchanged wovs with Pei in at the end of the Year 2017 in a beautiful temple in Taipei. Pei was wearing an amazing red lace cheongsam.

Traditionally, Taiwanese weddings are very different from Western weddings even just in terms of colors.

Red plays a vital role in Chinese weddings, because this color is associated with success, loyalty, honor, fertility, and love, amongst others. Because of this, decorations at Chinese weddings are generally in red, and so is the bride's dress.

Gold is also commonly used, as it portrays wealth and fortune.
